About Us
We Started This Because of One Dog and One Bad Hike.
A few years ago, we took our dog on an overnight hiking trip. We had good gear. She did not.
Her harness rubbed. Her water bowl leaked everywhere. Her backpack sat wrong and had to come off after the first mile. We spent more time fixing her kit than actually enjoying the trail.
We came home and started looking for better options. What we found was either too cheap to last, too bulky to carry, or designed for dogs that walk around the block — not dogs that actually go places.
So we built PeakPaws Co.
Gear That Actually Goes Where You Go
Everything we sell is tested on real trails, in real weather, by real dogs.
Waterproof means waterproof—not water-resistant until the second river crossing. Adjustable means it fits a working dog's body, not just looks good in a product photo. And durable means it comes back from the trip looking like it can do it again next weekend.
We are not a big outdoor brand. We do not have a warehouse full of gear made by people who have never hiked with a dog. We are a small team that genuinely loves being outside with our dogs, and we only sell things we would actually use ourselves.
Your Dog Deserves Good Kit
Dogs do not complain when their gear is uncomfortable. They just slow down, or stop, or quietly have a worse time than they should.
Good gear changes that. The right backpack means your dog can carry their own water and feel like part of the team. The right collar means you can see them on a dark trail without worrying. The right car cover means you stop hesitating before muddy adventures because cleanup takes two minutes.
That is what we are here for. Not just to sell you something, but to make every trip with your dog easier, safer, and more fun.
Thanks for being here.
If you ever have a question about gear, a trail you want to recommend, or just want to show us a photo of your dog mid-adventure — we genuinely want to hear from you.
